Our goal is to provide Chicago area RESNET and BPI professionals with training on the most current building performance advancements and IECC code requirements through a variety of classes and events taught by building science experts. Priority Energy’s continuing education training will help certified individuals keep up with industry changes and earn continuing education credits which will allow them to bypass most written exams when renewing their certification(s).

BPI Continuing Education (CE) and Certification Renewal
BPI certifications must be renewed every three years. By obtaining 30 CEUs in one 3-year cycle, individuals will be able to bypass the written renewal exam. No BPI CEUs? Expired BPI certification? The written and field exams can be re-taken at any time by scheduling an appointment.
This CEU policy applies to the following certifications:
- BPI Building Analyst Technician Professional
- BPI Building Analyst Professional
- BPI Heating Professional
- BPI Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Professional
- BPI Manufactured Housing Professional
- BPI Multifamily Building Analyst
- BPI Multifamily Building Operator
RESNET Continuing Education (CEUs) & Certification Renewal
RESNET certifications must be renewed every 3 years. By earning 18 CEUs, individuals can renew without retaking the Rater exam. Has your RESNET certification expired? You can get reinstated by re-taking the exams without having to retake training.
Professionals can renew by:
- Earning 18 continuing education credits in their 3 year cycle,
- Passing the Rater Test every three years, or
- Documenting 18 hours of attendance at a RESNET Conference during the (3) three year cycle.
